This week I wanted to bring you a post on the 5 FREE apps I use to run my online business. These apps have changed my business life and made things heaps easier. Sooooo here they are!
I looove Calendly! Since my business is online and the majority of my clients in the US this just makes scheduling calls sooo easy! On the free account you can have 1 appointment type, you add in the times when you want to take appointments and connect with your google calendar. All you do is send the link for your Calendly to your client or potential client and they can schedule their appointment, it converts to their time zone. You can even embed your Calendly into your website. It makes it so easy!
Asana is a project management tool which allows you to create projects, tasks and assign tasks to your team members. I have each of my clients in there with their tasks all assigned to either myself or team members. You can attach files, send messages, and create recurring tasks plus more! It really saves my life, and keeps me on track with all my client work.
I use Hootsuite for both my clients and myself. This allows my team and I to easily schedule out our social media content to multiple social networks effectively. You can even see and reply to messages right from the Hootsuite dashboard. On the free account you can have up to 3 social networks connected.
Google has a range of apps which allows you to collaborate and edit your documents online for free with your team members. Docs is like MS Word – Sheets – like MS Excel – Slides – like PowerPoint and Forms allows you to create interactive forms.
You can share files, edit at the same time, leave notes and chat to your team members. It is so good! I also use their Drive, Docs and Sheets apps on my iPhone.
MailChimp is an email management system which allows you to send campaigns to your list. You can create opt-in forms and link with your website and Facebook page. You can deliver your freebie via the welcome email all under the free account. When you want to use automations to create funnels, you can either upgrade by purchasing credits which start at US$9 for 300 emails or go on a monthly plan starting at $10 per month.
I would love to know what apps you use in your business, let me know in the comments below!
I love canva.com for creating ads and graphics. Free, though they have backgrounds and fonts you can purchase. It’s like having your very own advertising agency at your fingertips.
Scanner Pro for my iPhone for those times people can’t scan or fax me a document and take a picture to end it to me, I can convert it to a pdf document and print it.
For $10/mo , I love cinchshare for scheduling posts. It works with FB and Pinterest. I set my FB to automatically share my posts to Twitter so I don’t need to do that as well. The control panel is easy to use. If you have a biz that you need to post to numerous pages or groups it works wonderfully!
I like Canva too Meghan, I don’t use it too much anymore, but it is great.
I haven’t heard of Scanner pro or cinchshare, I will have to check them out. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Thanks for the info, i really want to learn more about google docs and Asana
Just shoot me an email if you need help with either Jessica 🙂
